We will be meeting in the parking lot at the corner of Brock Road and Park Dr. NW (this is the last turn before you reach the campus of Duluth High School). Remember, the roads in this area will be shut down to allow the parade to pass by so either get there early or plan to shuttle in (see https://duluthfallfestival.org/visitors/free-parking-and-shuttles/). You will NOT be able to park in the parking lot that we are meeting in.

This is our annual family campout, however, due to the recent changes (as of 9/1/23) from the national council of the BSA, any adult staying overnight must be registered with BSA within the council and the troop, complete youth protection training and position-specific training, as well as pay a yearly membership fee.  The troop has decided to invite parents and guardians to visit camp on Saturday evening to have dinner and attend the court of honor afterwards. The scouts will travel to camp on Friday evening with the troop and trained leaders.  Meet on Friday, 9/15 at 5:30pm at the scout hut dressed in Class A uniform as always.  Parents/guardians/siblings that are not leaders with the troop will need to sign up under your scout's name as a guest (not adult) if you will be at the Saturday evening dinner/court of honor, then returning home afterwards.  (we need numbers to determine how much food for dinner on Saturday). Please put names of guest(s) in notes section.

Our next camping trip is August 18-20th at Amicalola Falls State Park.  Signup and pay by August 16th on the website, the cost is only $40 to attend, which includes campsite and food. Meet at the scout hut on August 18th at 5:30pm

The troop will be attending Bert Adams for summer camp. The dates for 2023 will be June 25th-July 1. Cost per scout is $380. Sign up and payment option is on the website. Swim test date and Merit badge choices, etc will be distributed soon. Each attendee must have medical form (A,B and C). Part C requires a physical and doctor’s signature. This form is attached.
